Together Textiles is a group of artists and makers led by Maria, meeting one Friday a month in Leek Wooton, Warwickshire.

This independent embroidered textile course is aimed at learners who wish to develop skills to a professional level.
Project outlines are provided with techniques and inspiration along with mentoring and individual guidance. Students are encouraged to become confident in their work and creative problem solving and explore original ideas with the support of Maria’s textile knowledge and experience.

Methods materials and processes

We explore a wide variety of techniques; Natural dyes and eco-printing, Hand dying, Free-needle machine embroidery, Hand embroidery, Fabric manipulation and Surface texture, Patchwork, Quilting and 3D textile forms.
